Network Implementation

Implement and validate the network.

Activities

  • Check approved design, addressing and configuration baseline.
  • Implement authorised changes within the agreed change window.
  • Validate connectivity, redundancy and service acceptance within scope.

Documentation

  • Approved implementation and rollback plan
  • Configuration/version register and change record
  • Validation results and unresolved issues

Standardisation

  • Use consistent device/interface names and approved configuration templates.
  • Keep credentials and client configurations in authorised private systems.

Proposed SOP outlines

  • Confirm approval, maintenance window, rollback criteria and pre-checks.
  • Apply the change; validate; roll back if criteria fail; record the outcome.

Deliverables

  • Validated implementation and change evidence
  • Updated topology and configuration inventory
